Long hours of sitting whether on a flight, a road trip, or a train do something most people don't think about until they feel it. Without the natural muscle contractions of walking, blood flow in the lower legs slows, fluid pools in the ankles and feet, and the risk of deep vein thrombosis rises with every hour of immobility. The discomfort of swollen, tired, aching legs is the visible symptom. DVT is the serious risk underneath it.

SynxPlus Flight & Recovery Compression Socks are designed to counter this issues.

Ideal For:

  • Long haul flights and extended air travel
  • Road trips, bus and train journeys involving prolonged sitting
  • DVT prevention during travel and immobility
  • Swollen ankles and leg oedema
  • Tired, heavy and restless legs
  • Post surgery recovery and rehabilitation
  • Injury recovery and lower limb rehabilitation
  • Pregnancy related leg swelling and circulation support
  • All day standing or sitting in work environments

Medical Compression, Travel Ready

They're lightweight enough for all day wear and versatile enough for travel, post surgery recovery, injury rehabilitation and pregnancy related swelling in a unisex design that works for both men and women.

Medical grade performance, travel ready comfort.

Good To Know

The Material That Makes The Difference

Compression Class: Class 2 Medical Compression (23–32 mmHg)
Certification: ARTG approved
Compression Zones: 5 graduated zones
Material: 80% Nylon, 20% Spandex

The 5 Compression Zones. How They Work

The five graduated compression zones are the core of what makes these socks medically effective rather than simply supportive. Each zone is calibrated to a specific area of the lower leg and a specific role in the circulation system:

Zone 1 — Supreme Compression (Ankle)
Maximum support around the ankle the point where blood and fluid pooling begins and where the highest level of compression is needed to drive circulation back up the leg.

Zone 2 — Firm Compression (Lower Calf & Achilles)
Firm support around the Achilles and lower calf — enhancing stability in this critical area and continuing the upward pressure that moves blood efficiently through the lower leg.

Zone 3 — Moderate Compression (Mid Calf)
Targeted compression through the middle of the calf the largest muscle group in the lower leg and a key component of the body's natural venous return mechanism. This zone assists in reducing swelling and supporting blood flow during travel and extended inactivity.

Zone 4 — Mild Compression (Upper Calf)
Supports flexibility in the upper calf while maintaining essential blood flow a graduated reduction in pressure that works with the body's circulation rather than against it.

Zone 5 — Gentle Compression (Top of Calf)
The lightest compression zone at the top of the sock ensuring optimal comfort in the upper calf area during extended sitting while completing the graduated compression gradient from ankle to calf.

Wearing-In Instructions

Getting compression socks on correctly makes a significant difference to both comfort and effectiveness:

  • For a proper fit, stretch the sock out several times before wearing to loosen the fabric
  • Bunch the sock down like a regular sock rather than pulling it straight up slip it over the foot first and position the heel correctly before working the sock gradually up the calf
  • Adjust the top and bottom until the sock sits smoothly against the leg without bunching, folding or creating pressure ridges
  • The sock should feel firm and snug this is the compression working correctly but should not feel painfully tight or restrict blood flow
  • If you have a wider foot or ankle, or fall on the edge of the sizing chart, select the next size up for a more comfortable fit
  • Gradually build up wear time over the first few days to allow your legs to adapt to the new level of compression

Sizing Note
  • These socks provide a snug fit by design the compression is what makes them medically effective.
  • If you have a wider or swollen foot, or fall on the edge of the sizing chart, we recommend selecting the next size up.
  • Please choose your size carefully we do not offer exchanges for hygiene reasons.
  • For any sizing questions, contact us at support@synxbody.com
Storage & Care Tips

  • Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent avoid machine washing on hot cycles as heat degrades the compression fabric over time
  • Do not tumble dry or iron lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct heat and sunlight
  • Replace when the fabric begins to lose elasticity or the compression feels reduced compression socks lose effectiveness as the elastic fibres degrade with wear and washing
  • Store flat or loosely rolled in a clean, dry place
  • Keep out of reach of children

    Very comfortable

The socks are very comfortable to wear. It was hard to get them on initially but obviously that is because they need to be tight, but after getting them you don’t even notice them.

They are doing everything I need them to do

Currently on a 4 week overseas holiday having, unfortunely, left Australia with viral inflammation. The socks well and truly did their job on the flights! Very pleased I bought 2 pairs.

    Highly recommend theses socks!

I am a nurse, I wear them every working day. They have made a huge difference to my leg health. I finish the day without aching legs and zero lower leg swelling.

I wear them on long haul flights, with the same results as above.

I have tried many brands, these are by far the most comfortable.

FAQs

What is Class 2 Medical Compression and why does it matter?

Medical compression is classified by pressure level Class 1 is 18–21 mmHg for mild conditions, Class 2 is 23–32 mmHg for moderate to severe conditions including DVT prevention and post-surgical recovery. The higher pressure of Class 2 compression is clinically proven to be more effective for DVT prevention during travel and for managing significant swelling and venous conditions. ARTG approval confirms the socks meet the required standard for this classification.

How long can I wear this compression socks?

These socks are designed for all-day and all-night wear in appropriate circumstances most people wear them throughout a flight and for several hours after landing. Build up gradually over the first few days of use to allow your legs to adapt to the compression level. Do not wear during sleep unless specifically advised by a medical professional.

Are these flight & recovery compression socks suitable for diabetes?

Yes, they are safe for diabetics and assist in reducing swelling. However if vascular concerns are also present please check with your medical professional.

How often should I wash them?

You should wash after each wear. You can hand wash or gentle machine wash on a cold cycle and allow to air dry.

How tight should flight & recovery compression socks feel?

Properly fitted socks should feel snug but not painful or restrictive. You should not experience numbness, tingling, or colour changes in your toes.
