Whether you're dealing with Morton's neuroma, capsulitis, stubborn forefoot calluses or just feet that burn after a long day on them, Synxgeli Forefoot Cushions deliver the kind of targeted relief that a standard insole simply can't match. Soft, medical-grade gel that moves with your foot not against it. Two in the pack so you always have a fresh pair ready.

Ideal For

  • Morton's neuroma
  • Capsulitis
  • Ball of foot pain and burning feet
  • Blisters on the forefoot
  • Corns and calluses under the metatarsal area
  • Nerve sensitivity and prolonged standing
  • Fat pad atrophy in the forefoot

Key Features

  • Targets the Ball of the Foot: Sits precisely under the metatarsal area to cushion and protect the most pressure-prone part of your foot right where you need it most.

  • Elevates the Toe Joints: Gently lifts and positions the toe joints to redistribute pressure away from painful spots, reducing the load on sensitive nerves and tissue.

  • Metatarsal Support & Elevation: Lifts the ball of the foot and distributes pressure evenly across the metatarsal heads, reducing point pain.

  • Soft Gel Construction: PU gel is gentle on sensitive skin whilst providing durable, long-lasting cushioning through daily wear.

  • Morton's Neuroma Relief: The elevated design reduces compression on the intermetatarsal nerve, easing neuroma pain and burning sensations.

  • Blister & Corn Prevention: Reduced friction under the forefoot prevents new blisters and calluses whilst protecting existing ones during healing.

Fitting Instructions

Placement is everything with forefoot cushions a well-positioned pad transforms comfort, a misaligned one won't do much at all. Here's how to nail it:

  • Place the cushion under the ball of the foot, just behind the toe joints
  • The front edge of the pad should sit just at the base of the toes not under them
  • The cushion should cover the full width of the metatarsal area across the forefoot
  • For Morton's neuroma or a specific painful spot, shift the pad slightly to centre over that area
  • Try barefoot first walk a few steps and adjust until the relief is where you need it
  • For burning feet caused by prolonged standing, centre the pad evenly across the forefoot for full coverage

Wearing-In Instructions

  1. Start barefoot. Position the cushion before putting on socks so you can feel exactly where it's sitting.
  2. Place under the forefoot. Lay the cushion under the ball of your foot, just behind the base of your toes.
  3. Adjust for comfort. Shift the pad until it feels like it's taking the pressure off the right spot you'll feel it when it's right.
  4. Test it out. Walk a few barefoot steps to confirm the positioning and make sure it's not bunching or sliding.
  5. Put on socks and shoes. Pull socks on carefully over the cushion and wear with your usual footwear.
  6. Wear throughout the day. The cushion will keep working with every step, redistributing pressure and reducing friction all day long.

  • Hand wash gently with mild soap and warm water after each use
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before wearing again

FAQs

Can I wear both Forefoot cushions at the same time?

Yes, you can wear one in each shoe for balanced forefoot support. Alternatively, keep one cushion in your most-used shoe and one as a backup.

Will these Gel Forefoot Cushions help with Morton's neuroma?

They're one of the most commonly recommended conservative management tools for Morton's neuroma. The cushioning reduces pressure on the nerve, and the gentle elevation of the metatarsal heads helps to spread the bones apart slightly which is exactly what an irritated neuroma needs. They won't cure a neuroma, but most people notice a significant reduction in burning and shooting pain with regular use.

Do Forefoot Cushions stay in place inside the shoe or do they slide around?

The soft gel surface has a natural tackiness that helps the cushion grip against the shoe insole and stay in position through normal daily activity. For best results make sure the insole of your shoe is clean and dry before placing the cushion.

One size fits all will these actually work on smaller or larger feet?

The cushion is designed to cover the metatarsal area across a range of foot sizes. For smaller feet, you may find the pad extends slightly further back toward the arch this is fine and won't affect comfort. For larger feet, it may not span the full width of the forefoot. In either case, positioning it over the most painful area is the priority, and the one size design works well for the vast majority of people.

How long does the gel stay effective before it needs replacing?

With daily wear, these gel cushions typically last 6–8 months before the gel begins to compress noticeably. Lifespan depends on your body weight and activity level.
