A well-positioned heel cushion should feel immediately supportive like your heel finally has somewhere soft to land. Here's how to get it right:

• Place the heel cushion inside your shoe with the gel side facing up and the heel cup sitting at the very back of the shoe
• Your heel should sit centrally in the cup not hanging off the back or sitting too far forward
• The contoured arch section should align naturally with the arch of your foot
• Try in your shoe before wearing walk a few steps to check it feels supportive and isn't shifting
• For plantar fasciitis, make sure the heel cup is fully supporting the base of the heel where pain is most concentrated
• For Achilles issues, ensure the cushion is sitting high enough at the back to take pressure off the tendon insertion point
• Use in both shoes for balanced support and even load distribution

1. Place inside your shoe. Lay the cushion gel-side up at the back of your shoe, making sure the heel cup sits right at the rear of the insole.
2. Check the arch alignment. The contoured arch section should sit under the natural arch of your foot adjust forward or back slightly if needed.
3. Step in and test. Put your foot in and take a few steps. Your heel should feel cradled and supported from the moment you stand.
4. Adjust if needed. If the cushion is shifting or the arch pad doesn't feel right, reposition until everything aligns naturally with your foot.
5. Wear as normal. Use in both shoes for balanced, all-day support and shock absorption.
