Getting The Perfect Fit

The toe loop is the secret to making these work it keeps the cushion from migrating forward or bunching under your foot. Here's how to get placement right:

  • Slide the loop over your second or third toe whichever feels most comfortable and natural
  • The gel pad should sit flat and centred under the ball of your foot
  • Adjust until the cushion covers the area that feels most tender or pressured
  • For burning pain across the whole ball of foot, centre the pad evenly across the forefoot
  • For a specific corn or callus, shift the pad to cover that exact spot
  • Try it barefoot first before putting on shoes to confirm position

Wearing-In Instructions

  1. Start barefoot. Put the Gel Ball of Foot Cushion on before your socks or stockings for easiest positioning.
  2. Find your loop toe. Slide the gel loop around your second or third toe whichever sits most comfortably.
  3. Position the pad. Let the gel cushion fall naturally under the ball of your foot, adjusting so it covers the tender area.
  4. Check the fit. Walk a few steps barefoot to make sure the pad stays in place and sits comfortably.
  5. Put on socks and shoes. The toe loop will keep everything right where it should be throughout the day.

Storage & Care Tips

    Surprisingly comfy

These are quite flat when you take them out of the packet and I did wonder how they would do the job. However, after having worn them a couple of times now, they are excellent and really cushion my foot - definitely a winner 👍

FAQs

Which toe does the loop go on does it matter?

It's designed to sit on your second or third toe whichever feels most natural and comfortable for you. Most people find the second toe works best as it keeps the pad centred under the ball of the foot. Try both and go with what feels right. There's no wrong answer as long as the pad is sitting flat under the ball of your foot.

Will Gel Ball of Foot Cushion fit inside my shoes without making them feel tight?

The cushion is slim enough to sit comfortably inside most everyday shoes without adding noticeable bulk. Shoes with a little more toe box room like trainers, walking shoes or low heels work particularly well.

Is Gel Ball of Foot Cushion suitable for high heels?

Yes, this cushion works particularly well in heels as it provides crucial support where heels naturally concentrate pressure.

How are these different from a regular insole?

A standard insole cushions the whole foot evenly. These target the ball of the foot specifically which is where most forefoot pain actually lives. The dual-layer gel and foam design also provides a level of impact absorption and pressure relief that flat insoles simply can't match for this specific area. Think of it as precision cushioning versus general coverage.

How long does each pair last?

With proper care, expect 4–6 months of regular use before the gel begins to lose its resilience. Lifespan depends on usage intensity and foot conditions.
