Hammer toes, claw toes and mallet toes all share a common problem the toe is held in a bent or contracted position, which shifts pressure away from the flat underside of the toe and concentrates it at the tip and across the top of the joint.

Fitting Instructions

Position the gel crest under the toe, cradling it so that the toe isliftedand the pressure is distributed across the crest rather than concentrated on the tip. The crest should feel supportive without pinching or restricting toe movement.

Wearing-In Instructions

  1. Identify the affected toes. Toe crests are suitable for any toe affected by hammer, claw or mallet deformity typically the lesser toes, though they can be used on any toe where tip pressure and contracted positioning is causing discomfort.
  2. Position the crest. Slide the toe crest under the affected toe or toes so that the raised gel pad sits beneath the toe, gently lifting it from below.
  3. Check the elevation. The toe should feel gently elevated and supported the pressure that was concentrating at the tip should feel redistributed to a more comfortable position across the underside of the toe.
  4. Put your shoe on. The crest should sit comfortably underneath the toe inside the shoe without causing additional pressure or crowding in the toe box.
  5. Wear as needed. Use during any activity where toe tip pain, friction or deformity discomfort is a concern throughout the day or during specific occasions when discomfort typically builds.

Storage & Care Tips

  • After each use, wash gently with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storing or reusing
  • Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat
  • Do not stretch or pull the crest excessively this can affect the shape and cushioning over time
  • Replace when the gel begins to feel less cushioning, the shape deteriorates, or the material shows visible signs of wear
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Due to hygiene reasons, returns or exchanges are not permitted on gel products

    Synx toe crests

    My chiro recommended them. I'd tried other products for the pain under the ball of my foot so it seemed weird that these could help. But I bought them and they're great!

    Happier Toe

    I been looking for this product for longtime as had a very old podriast made one ,now too hard on my toe , found this product in chemist warehouse tried , toe is so much happier , now more around with lot more inconvenience amazingly , as my alternative is to remove toe. Hopefully will help for rest of my life and product stays on the market . Thank you so much

    Great toe supports, they give me excellent pain relief.

    They are not as easy to put on or remove as the ones with elastic loops but nonetheless they are brilliant.
