The AusMumpreneur Awards presented by The Women’s Business School celebrate and recognise Australian Mums in business achieving outstanding success in areas such as business excellence, product development, customer service and digital innovation. The awards are designed to recognise the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.

In case you're not aware, SynxBody is an Australian footcare company co-founded by podiatrist Rachael Ferguson to create affordable products to help keep people on their feet and pain-free.

Rachael is delighted to be named as a finalist and is proud of her achievements, particularly the new Australian made pain relief range: Synxeaze Pain Relief Cream and Capsules using Australian grown and extracted fresh plants.  2021 has seen further expansion of their range launching the Synxplus Shoe Care Range also hitting the shelves of Chemist Warehouse stores in September.

There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood as Rachael explains, “I love inspiring my kids and showing them that anything is possible.  I’m proud to demonstrate to my son that women can be a loving, nurturing mother whilst running a company; and to my daughter that she can be anything she chooses, having a family and career of her own.  I find it immensely rewarding being able to help people with SynxBody’s products.  I thrive on the challenge of growing my business and product range to further address needs of the wider community.”

It can be challenging to be a successful business woman whilst raising a family and Rachael gives this advice for others thinking about starting their own enterprise, “the importance of consistency is paramount; taking daily steps to reach goals, and not being disheartened with setbacks.  Mistakes are the driving force behind success.  Don’t be afraid to make bold and quick decisions, being confident to pivot as the need arises.  There’s no magic recipe for success; it comes down to the simple things repeated daily and being committed to work hard to turn your dreams into reality”.

And don't forget to vote for SynxBody and our customer service here to help us win the People's Choice Customer Service Award for 2021.
