In Australia, 8 people are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes every single day. That’s an average of 56 families every single week whose lives have been tipped upside down.

As a mother, it can be such a lonely, heartbreaking and stressful time learning to support and care for your child with diabetes. I know firsthand just how hard it can be, but I wanted to film this episode to let you know that you are not alone.

Join me, as I chat about:

👟 What it was like for the first 12 months and how we got through it as a family

👟The four signs that you might be missing that indicate a possible diagnosis

👟 The one thing I was so scared to do as a Mum, but it has given us all so much freedom

👟 Why I chose pump therapy OVER injections

👟 The most common things I saw with type 1 diabetes children as a podiatrist

… and SO much more.

Stay tuned for next week’s this episode where I chat with my 10-year-old son about what it’s like living with Diabetes from a kid's perspective. It’s such a powerful and moving episode, you don’t want to miss it.
